What more can you ask when it is located near enough to the beach without sand flying into your food. Our 1st meal since landed in Seoul then straight to Sokcho. They probably were shocked to have us, foreigners, in their restaurant early for dinner at 4.30pm and ordered almost everything in their menu. Their porridge was one-not-enough, better than the one we had at Gangneung not too long years ago. But have to hold back due to other food we ordered, for 4 of us. Get everything they have in their menu if you are as hungry as us.
It’s a famous seafood place that you must visit if you’re in the city. A lot of their menu items are raw so keep that in mind - but they are as fresh as they come. They are famous for their cold spicy sashimi bowl that has tons of different sashimi and veggies in a giant bowl with spice. We also got some crab meat bibimbap and crab ramen. They were all fantastic with great portions and flavour. They also have tons of side dishes that you can’t find in Seoul so I would suggest to try them all! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for fresh seafood.
물회 is a cold raw fish soup. It’s one of the must-try local food in Sokcho. We ordered: 물회 (19,000KRW) - comes with 5 types of raw fish. The noodle is served separately. You have to mix everything before eating. The cold soup is quite refreshing. 홍개비빔밥 (18,000KRW) - Bibimbab with crab
Never tried this before. Seafood in a cold soup with veggies and noodles. Kind of like nengmyun. The seafood was pretty fish, but not the best. I would get the seafood bap next time. The raw squid was good too.
Beautiful view from restaurant. I love it best service and delicious food.
My friend recommended this place. we got the assorted mul-hwai, seaweed soup, abalone portage, suk-guk. Everything was so yummy!! and a great view.
Delicious and famous seefood restaurant, but too many waiting on weekend. Not worthy to wait for one hour.
